We bring you a simple guide and recommendations on the easiest, safest and fastest way to get from Solaris to Zagreb, so you can complete your adventure without any problems.
Solaris
The famous Solaris hotel and water attraction complex is located just a few kilometers from Šibenik. It is an ideal vacation spot for the whole family due to its abundance of entertainment for children and adults alike.
In addition to the large water park, Solaris is surrounded by four kilometers of beach, so you won't run out of swimming options.
Zagreb
The capital of the Republic of Croatia, Zagreb, is located some 350 kilometers north of Šibenik. As the largest city, it is expectedly bustling with entertainment, culture and interesting sites. We recommend a walk through the Lower and Upper Towns, the beautiful old core of Zagreb that gives it its characteristic appearance.

Transportation options
The highway drive to Zagreb takes an average of four and a half hours, depending on road conditions. There are several transportation options and routes, and it's up to you to choose the best one.
Bus
Buses to Zagreb depart from Šibenik, which is a 15-minute drive from Solaris. In addition to the problem with this part of the transfer, you also have to take into account the bus schedules and the high traffic during the season. All in all, a much slower option than private transportation, which will eventually drop you off at the bus station, which will require an additional transfer to your desired location.
Taxi Sibenik
If you are looking for an option that will quickly and safely take you from one point to another, look no further. Taxi is the best choice if you have a desired arrival and departure point. It frees you from the need to carry luggage to the station, negotiate your seat with another person, or experience delays. You would be in Zagreb more than an hour earlier than if you traveled by bus, and from Solaris instead of Šibenik!
The fastest option is via Šibenik, since the route directly from Solaris is quite long. Via the E71 highway you arrive directly in Zagreb.
If time is not a priority for you, there is also an option without the highway. The travel time would be about 5 hours, but the ride would be much richer in content. Also near Šibenik is the Krka National Park, which is a great place to visit while you are on the road. It is located on the river of the same name and is adorned with seven waterfalls, one of which you can even swim in!
Further driving on roads D27 and D1 you will pass through small towns in Lika at the foot of Velebit, and next to another national park, Plitvice Lakes, which should by no means be omitted from your agenda and are the perfect location for one-day trips, with the option of staying the night.
